      <image:title>President's Award</image:title>
<image:caption>The Joseph Santarini President’s Trophy is the club’s newest award and was first introduced in 2017/18. This award is named in honour of founding member Joseph Santarini. It is awarded at the discretion of the President to a club member who has demonstrated commitment and or service to the club that goes above and beyond the call of duty. Committee members are eligible for this award. Although Joe hasn’t never been a President at BCC, he was the President at Highgate CC in the 1970s. When Highgate CC amalgamated with Mt. Lawley CC in 1975/76 to become the Northern Suburbs CC, Joe was made the inaugural President and retained his connection to Highgate CC by adopting the royal blue and gold colours.. These colours are still with us today at BCC. When we think of club Presidents, the following words best describe them: Leadership Passionate Approachable Resilient Visionary Award Winners 2017/18 - Simon Duca 2018/19 - Brandon Seneque 2019/20 - Anthony Barker 2020/21 - Bjorn Thompson 2021/22 - Ben O’Brien 2022/23 - Kylie Stone 2023/24 - Ryan Jacobs 2024/25 - Harrison Jacobs (pictured right)</image:caption>

      <image:title>Barry Parker - BCC Life Member #3</image:title>
<image:caption>Barry first began playing cricket in 1962/63. He played 90 games for the club and was considered one of the boys. He never missed a game and sometimes travelled up from a small town called Yunderup, near Mandurah. He loved to drink and smoke with his mates after training and games. He was unfortunately involved in a car accident that resulted in a fractured skull and hip and as a result, lost hearing in his left ear. Barry was able to get back playing after his accident and opened the batting in the lower grades. His three sons also played for the club. In November 1988, aged 44, Barry suffered a heart attack during a match against Tuart Hill at Grenville Reserve. Following his passing, a trophy was created in his memory. Each year at our Presentation Night, the Barry Parker Most Dedicated Award is presented to a player who demonstrates outstanding dedication, courageousness, loyalty and commitment to the club throughout the season. These were some of the attributes the late Barry brought to the club during his time. The first trophy winner was awarded in 1988/89 and the original trophy is pictured. WASTCA presents the Barry Parker Memorial Award to the player with the best individual performance in any match in the Association for the season. Life Member #35 Andrew Pullen won this award in 2016/17. ‘Happy’ as he is best known around at the club, took match figures of 13/49 against South Perth in a 9th Grade outright win played at Jubilee Reserve. He took 8/27 off 13.3 overs in the 1st innings before following up with 5/22 off 14 overs in the 2nd innings. A very deserving winner in our eyes!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Pink Stumps - Pink Stumps Day</image:title>
<image:caption>We are proud to support the McGrath Foundation by hosting a Pink Stumps Day annually. Most people would know someone close to them or know of someone who has suffered from breast cancer and as a club, we would like to support this great cause. BCC has hosted 8 Pink Stumps Days, which are held on the first Saturday after the Christmas break. Each year, we have set a fundraising goal of $500 and on all 8 occasions, this goal has been bettered. In total, our club has raised just over $8,000 and we can not thank everyone enough for their kindness and generosity. On the day, players wear pink hats and pink stumps are used for the game. We look forward to hosting our 9th Pink Stumps Day in January 2026 and continue raising funds for a great cause and foundation.</image:caption>
