The Joseph Santarini President’s Trophy

The Joseph Santarini President’s Trophy is the club’s newest award and was first introduced in 2017/18. This award is named in honour of founding member Joseph Santarini. It is awarded at the discretion of the President to a club member who has demonstrated commitment and or service to the club that goes above and beyond the call of duty. Committee members are eligible for this award.

Although Joe hasn’t never been a President at BCC, he was the President at Highgate CC in the 1970s. When Highgate CC amalgamated with Mt. Lawley CC in 1975/76 to become the Northern Suburbs CC, Joe was made the inaugural President and retained his connection to Highgate CC by adopting the royal blue and gold colours.. These colours are still with us today at BCC.
